In the Call of Duty World League, players compete for a grand total of $4,800,000 over the course of 12 live events. The events are comprised of 6 open events, like Anaheim, where any group of 4 individuals can show up, buy a competitors pass, and play for their share of a $200,000 prize pool (First place $80,000 per team). Along with money, players accumulate “pro points” for their placings. Pro points are the determining factor in which teams are selected to compete in the Call of Duty Pro League. Being in the Pro League gains players access to larger scale tournaments where they can earn more money, and pro points. Each season, all of the players hard works leads up to the Call of Duty Championships. The biggest tournament of the year with a prize pool to go along with it. A grand total of $1,500,000 will be awarded to teams who finish within the top 8. With the first place team winning $600,000.
